Decorating Rules
No glitter of any kind or attached to any surfaces; the presence of glitter will result in an extra cleaning charge to damage deposit
No nails or staples inside or outside any buildings
Candles must be battery-operated or fully protected inside a fireproof, leak-proof, dripless container
All flowers, greenery, and decor items must be removed within an hour of the event ending
Items borrowed from Tobesofkee Farm decor supply room must be washed, rinsed, dried, and returned to the original storage location within an hour of the event ending
General Rules
A “Day of Event” insurance liability policy worth $2 million is required if alcohol is to be served (may obtain online or through an agency). Must be secured one week prior to the event with evidence emailed to annslade.walker@gmail.com.
If no alcohol is being served, a “Day of Event” insurance liability policy worth $1 million is required for weekend (Friday and Saturday) events
A POST-certified officer must be hired by renters, one for every 100 guests, one additional for any guest amount more than 100, for the entirety of the event starting one hour prior and ending one hour after, to assist with parking, directions, safety, and adherence to Tobesofkee Farm policies and for exiting venue at required times.
No early entry is allowed; gates will be unlocked only for times specified for an event. There are no early drop-offs of any supplies, food, decor, etc.
Tobesofkee Farm is not responsible for anything remaining anywhere on the property more than one hour after an event ends
Event hosts/participants and guests must remain inside the fenced event barn area
Any wires, cords, etc., may not be put in places that might cause injuries; multiple outlets are available
All vendors and suppliers are responsible for providing their own staff and cleanup, leaving no evidence of their presence (trash, unused supplies, boxes, leftover food, dirty dishes, etc.).
An extra cleaning fee will be charged to the damage deposit if necessary.
A bonded and licensed bartender must be hired to serve any type of alcohol to control consumption.
